Article publishing charges
Journal of Translational Ayurveda is open access: every article is free to read. The article publishing charge (APC) covers peer review management, production, hosting and long-term preservation.
Charges
| Article type | Authors in India | International authors |
|---|---|---|
| Research article | INR 5,000 | USD 65 |
| Review article | INR 3,000 | USD 40 |
| Short communication | INR 2,000 | USD 25 |
| Case study / technical report | INR 3,000 | USD 40 |
| Editorial / perspective | No charge | No charge |
There is no charge to submit, and nothing is payable if your manuscript is not accepted. Editors decide on acceptance without knowing whether an author can pay.
When and how to pay
- After acceptance: once your manuscript is accepted, an APC invoice appears in your JournalOS dashboard and we email you.
- Pay online: open the invoice and pay with a credit or debit card, UPI, net banking or wallets through Razorpay. SBI ePay will be available again soon.
- Receipt: a receipt is emailed immediately and stays in your dashboard. Add your institution's name, address and GSTIN before paying if you need them on the receipt.
- Publication: production continues once the APC is paid or waived.
Paying by bank transfer, or need your institution to be invoiced directly? Write to the editorial office through our contact form with your manuscript reference.
Waivers and discounts
Full or partial waivers are available for authors from low- and lower-middle-income countries, students and early-career researchers without funding, and in other cases of genuine need. Tick “request a waiver or discount” when you submit in JournalOS and explain your circumstances in the cover letter. The editorial office decides on waivers separately from the editorial decision.
India or international rate
The rate is set by the country of the corresponding author's affiliation at submission: Indian affiliations pay the India rate in INR; all others pay the international rate.
Refunds
APCs are charged only after acceptance. If an article is withdrawn after payment, see the refund policy.
