Publishing with us
How do I submit a manuscript?
Choose the journal that fits your research, read its guide for authors, then use "Submit your article" on the journal page. Submissions are handled in JournalOS.
What happens after I submit?
The editorial office checks scope, completeness and similarity. Suitable manuscripts are sent to at least two independent reviewers. You can follow every stage in your JournalOS dashboard.
How long until I get a decision?
Each journal shows its target time to first decision on its home page. Reviewers are asked to report within 14 days.
Are there publishing charges?
Charges, if any, are listed on each journal's policies page and are payable only after acceptance. Waivers are available: see the journal's APC and waivers policy.
How do I become a reviewer or join an editorial board?
Open the journal's Editorial board page and choose "Become a reviewer". You will need a SciNexID. Reviewing is voluntary; see the reviewer roles and terms. Editors and board members are appointed by invitation.
Reading and access
Is the content free to read?
Yes. Science Catalogs journals are open access: articles are free to read, download and share under their licence.
Where can I find Science Catalogs publications?
How do I cite an article?
